Seven Sacred Springs of the Holy Isle Of Glaston

Seven Sacred Springs of the Holy Isle Of Glaston

Chalice Well and the White Spring are two well-known ‘Springs of Glaston’. However, as the whole of Glastonbury is an aquifer, there are many more holy springs and wells in the area, some of them now lost and disused.

At the end of 2008 the PRC asked local historian Alan Royce to produce a paper outlining their location. His presented work came in the form of an A4 handwritten booklet with carefully drawn maps and illustrations.

The PRC has faithfully reproduced his work, including his own handwriting, and is now publishing this for the enjoyment who those who wish to further explore the Sacred Springs of Glaston.

In A4 format and published by PRC Publishing.

(All proceeds from books and booklets published by the PRC go directly towards keeping the Centre open and we thank you for your support)
