One of our most popular publications is Glimpses of Glastonbury which started life as a series of articles written by local experts, answering the many questions about Glastonbury that we were being asked in the Centre. By popular demand we put these all together into one publication which also includes our maps and other info sheets.(Available in the Centre but not on this site)

SACRED FRUIT OF AVALON‘Avalon’ probably comes from the Welsh word afal meaning apple and is the legendary island featured in the Arthurian stories and presided over by nine women, chief of them being Morgan le Fay.In the pre-Christian tradition, Avalon was both an isle of the Dead and an Isle of the Blessed; a place where the souls of the dead would await rebirth. it was an earthly island that contained a gateway to the otherworld known as Annwn and was located in the west, surrounded by water. On this island were apple trees, the food of the inhabitants of the Otherworld. |

Over the last few years, through our experience of running the centre, we have been putting together a whole range of our own publications - responding to the needs of our visitors.
PRC Publications has been going since 2009 and we have been really enjoying the journey of researching and putting together all of this material.
You can read more about all of our publications by clicking on the book-cover images on the middle section of this page.
